Troubleshooting Event ID 6028
If your system is joined to domain (Windows 2003 Active Directory) and you decided to enable Encrypting File System (EFS) for files or folder. You hit into the following error during the process of enabling it.

Possible Resolutions
| The error is cause by the recovery agent certificates that is already expired. The solution is to either renew the existing certificates or generate new certificates for the EFS recovery agents. Following screen shot show the expire file recovery agent via policy.  |
